The Airedale Terrier Ring Homepage

The Airedale Terrier Ring is for home pages written by Airedales and their humans and about Airedale Terriers in general. This ring is made possible by the WebRing. Currently Yahoo has taken over ring management from webring.org.

Why was this ring created? We've all used just about every search engine out there to find pages related to the finest animal on the planet -- the Airedale Terrier.

The beauty of what this ring strives to accomplish is to create a ring of home pages and sites with a common theme, that are linked together, so you can visit, in a circle, each and every Airedale Terrier page. If you travel long enough through this ring of 'dales, you will return back to your starting point .

We started on May 30, 1997 and we are *growing* each day as more and more Airedale folks find out about the Airedale Ring. Do your part and tell others who have these beautiful dogs to check the ring out. The ring can only work if we all join in. The ring is FREE to use and FREE to join. If you don't have a web page about your Airedale Terrier yet, now is the time to start one. Please tell your Airedale friends that this site exists.

Here's how to join The Airedale Terrier Ring!

(Please read Steps 1-4 before joining)

Step #1: Read the guidelines

What is acceptable:
  • Homepages of Airedogs
  • Pages with information on Airedogs
  • Pages focusing on images and links to Airedogs
  • Pet pages that include Airedogs
What is not acceptable:
  • Pages that depict any kind of animal cruelty
  • Pages not appropriate for websurfers of all ages
  • Pages with nothing but Webring links
  • Pages having nothing to do with Airedogs

Step #2: Please go to:Join the Airedale Ring here
You must be a member of Yahoo (its free to sign up), then you can go join the Airedale Ring.

Step #3: Adding the ring info to your homepage

Now is the last and most important step. After joining the queue for the Airedale Terrier Web Ring, you must get the Navigation bar. This bar enables you and your visitors to continue surfing the other Airedale sites on the ring.
When your website is officially in the ring, the gray bar will have the Airedale logo and directional links enabling visitors to join up, go back, go forward and so on

NOTE:
(a.) You are NOT part of the ring until you add the navigation bar (fragment and the graphic images) to YOUR home page.
(b.) You must notify me that you have added the necessary information to your web site and are ready to be linked up.

Step #4: Tell Skip and me that you're ready to link up.

After you have done Step #3, send me an e-mail RingLeader, and let me know your page is ready to be included in the ring.
Please include the name of your webpage as well as the URL.
When you are added to the ring "officially" you will be sent another e-mail telling you that you are officially a member.

Do NOT copy this, you will need YOUR own information for it to work.
The graphic and directionals will show up once you are officially part of the ring.

NOTE: Since the Yahoo takeover, many new and old Airedale Ring members have had some problems getting things going.
